The duration of your student visa depends on the length of your course. Once your visa expires, you may be eligible to extend your stay either by applying for a visa extension or transitioning to another suitable visa.
If you’ve completed a course in Australia and hold a valid student visa, you might be eligible for a Temporary Graduate Visa (Subclass 485), which allows you to stay longer after your studies.
